Societal Impact Lab
The Societal Impact Lab (SIL) is an idea development lab for researchers at Malmö University. The purpose of the lab is to support researchers in their efforts to translate research into practical applications. The goal is to ensure that research findings are implemented and disseminated throughout society to generate sustainable, long-term societal benefits.
Societal Impact Lab
The content of the lab is tailored and adapted to the participating researchers as well as the maturity and nature of their projects. During the lab sessions, the focus is primarily on individual idea development, interspersed with mentoring, collaborative activities, workshops, guest lectures, and field trips relevant to the commercialization process.
The Societal Impact Lab was established to put research findings from Malmö University to practical use and is led by Mau Innovation. The program is carried out in collaboration with Forum for Social Innovation and Mau Holding.
