Regional Ecosystems for Social Innovation and Social Transformation
Regional Ecosystems for Social Innovation and Social Transformation (RESIST) is an EU-funded Interreg project that strengthens social innovation and social entrepreneurship in the Baltic Sea region. Through new models and enhanced expertise, regional ecosystems for social innovation are being developed.

RESIST
The aim of the EU-funded Interreg project RESIST is to create better conditions for social innovation and social entrepreneurs in the Baltic Sea region. Through regional authorities, business development support organizations, and civil society organizations, a model is being developed to promote regional ecosystems for social innovation. Existing innovation support programs are being made available to social innovators and entrepreneurs.

Work package
The project builds capacity, structures, and resources in seven regions, promotes collaboration between civil society, the social economy, and the public sector, and disseminates knowledge through pilot programs, strategy labs, and international exchanges of experience.
The project is working on two solutions:
- A model for defining ecosystems at the local level and how this can be supported and developed.
- A capacity-building program for stakeholders in existing support systems to help them enhance their ability to support social innovation
Forum for Social Innovation Sweden various components of the work packages in Resist and contributes its expertise and experience in the field of social innovation.
