The webinar is part of Sustainability Week at the University of Borås, but participants from all universities, disciplines, public administration sectors, and civil society are welcome to attend.About the workshop
The workshop will begin with an inspirational talk by Dr. Hayley Trowbridge, a researcher at the Social Science Research Park (SPARK) at Cardiff University in Wales. Hayley will encourage us to reflect on how power shapes what is considered legitimate knowledge and how alternative ways of knowing can lead to transformative practices in social innovation. Following this, Forum for Social Innovation Sweden the University of Borås will present examples from current research. Representing the University of Borås is Maria Wolmesjö, professor of social work. The presentations will be followed by a group discussion moderated by Ulrika Sjölund, program director for Forum for Social Innovation Sweden, and Maria Wolmesjö, the university’s representative in Forum for Social Innovation Sweden's research network.Guest speaker
