About the seminar series
Purpose The aim of this seminar series is to strengthen the academic community by presenting and discussing current research on innovative ways to address societal challenges. Interested researchers and doctoral students from all disciplines and institutions are welcome to participate.
The focus of this seminar
On February 9, Åsa Kneck, associate professor of nursing science at Marie Cederschiöld University College, will present her co-created research with women who have personal experience of homelessness and violence. The presentation is based on fthe research program “SHE Program – Support, Health, and Equity for Women Experiencing Homelessness,” which is run in close collaboration with a group of expert women—the Woman Advisory Board—and in partnership with civil society organizations, the healthcare sector, and social services. The presentation will be followed by a group discussion moderated by Mats Målqvist, professor of global health at Uppsala University.
