Scientific Seminar Series: Nature-Based Approaches to Social Integration

Forum for Social Innovation Sweden researchers and doctoral students to a series of academic seminars on social innovation. 

On April 14 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Anna Maria Pálsdóttir, associate professor of environmental psychology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Alnarp, will present her research on nature-based initiatives for social integration and public health, drawing on lessons from case studies in Skåne conducted in collaboration with the healthcare system, the Swedish Forest Agency, and Botildenborg. The presentation will be followed by a group discussion moderated by Päivi Juuso, associate professor of nursing at Luleå University of Technology. The purpose of the seminar series is to strengthen scientific exchange on innovative ways to address societal challenges, known as social innovation. Interested researchers and doctoral students from all universities and disciplines are welcome to present and discuss current research in the field.
