Collaborative Research with Stakeholders – Survey Results and Research Overview

From 2024 to 2026, Forte and Forum for Social Innovation Sweden are leading Forum for Social Innovation Sweden learning process on collaboration and co-creation with societal actors in research. Collaboration refers to the involvement of societal actors in the planning and implementation of research. Co-creation is a more in-depth form of collaboration in which societal actors are actively involved in several parts of the research process. This seminar will present the results of a survey of project leaders in three Forte calls for proposals where collaboration and co-creation were specifically requested, as well as an international research review on the link between collaboration and the quality, relevance, and impact of research.
