Re-imaginatorium – On the Sustainable and Socially Engaged Universities of the Future
Welcome to a re-imaginatorium where we’ll work together to create a visionary roadmap for the sustainable and socially engaged universities of the future!
Together, we will explore how our higher education institutions can better support social innovation for a sustainable transition in collaboration with other sectors of society. The background to this is that an increasing number of higher education institutions are striving to broaden and deepen their social engagement in order to address current societal challenges and successfully navigate the transition to a sustainable society. To increase knowledge in this area, the higher education institutions in Forum for Social Innovation Sweden have Forum for Social Innovation Sweden a joint review of their strategic policy documents on innovation, sustainability, impact, and collaboration, which serve as the foundation for the Re-Imaginatorium.
The Re-Imaginatorium particularly welcomes those who work with steering and supporting innovation, sustainability, and collaboration at Swedish higher education institutions, such as innovation advisors, coordinators, university leadership, and researchers. Other interested parties within and outside academia are also welcome to participate.
Time: November 17, 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Location: DoTank, Marieviksgatan 19B, Stockholm
The Re-imaginatoriet is being implemented as part of the project “Academic Policy Support for Social Innovation in Sustainable Transition” which is funded by Vinnova and run by the universities in Forum for Social Innovation Sweden: Malmö University (project owner), the University of Borås, Jönköping University, Luleå University of Technology, Umeå University, and Örebro University.
