- Listen to and watch the performance *Strandfynd* by the Ocean Ambassadors, the Rebell Guitar Quartet, together with dancers Lisa Holström and Petra Nilsson.
- Create with the Sea – Ocean Ambassador Ellen Bjerborn is launching the new Creative Book and leading a drawing and writing exercise from the book that will help you reflect on your relationship with the sea and the sea’s relationship with you.
- Listen to two sound pieces about the ocean by artists J. Cowhie and Lucy Cathcart Frödén, who have collected sounds from above and below the surface. At the Amphitheater.
- Try out an activity from the new study circle “Ocean Awareness and Our Relationship with the Sea.” For many of us, our knowledge of the ocean—how it affects us and how we affect it—is limited. That’s why we need ocean awareness. Would you like to strengthen your connection to marine life? Are you curious about this new study circle? Come try an activity to find out if the study circle is right for you!
- Workshop: Sound Art Workshop. By the Stairs.
- Workshop: Land Art at Södra Varvsbassängen – led by the Land Art Sea Ambassadors team, we will create art in collaboration with nature. The artworks we create will have a special connection to the location and to ourselves. At the Amphitheater.
- Workshop: Tales in Tiles – Craft with the Ocean. As a participant, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on your relationship with the ocean while creating clay tiles using materials from the sea.
- Workshop: “I Wish I Were a Black-Spotted Goby”. A collaborative storytelling activity that retraces the history of Malmö’s coastline and its non-human inhabitants. We will set aside our human roles to experience the South Wharf Basin from an alternative perspective.
- Workshop: Come join us in brainstorming ideas for what the Södra Varvsbassängen could be like as an underwater park! How do you envision the Underwater Park in the future? How will we interact with and protect marine life? How can the Underwater Park be accessible to everyone in Malmö?
