Living with the Sea – From Shipbuilding to Eelgrass Beds

SAVE THE DATE: On Tuesday, November 25, the Malmö pilot project within the EU’s Bauhaus initiative of the Seas is setting sail for a celebration to wrap up the project and look ahead. Experience an exhibition on maritime culture featuring works that explore how we can forge a new relationship with the sea, and join a panel discussion on Malmö as a regenerative coastal city with Isac Ekberg (Young Voices for the Baltic), Michael Palmgren (Marine Knowledge Center), Andreas Schönström (City of Malmö), and Mirja Wande (White Arkitekter). We’ll also be serving light refreshments and drinks. Time and place: Niagara – Malmö University, 2nd floor, 4:00–7:00 PM You’re warmly invited to learn about what’s been accomplished during the project and to join the conversation about Malmö’s potential future as a city that contributes to the Öresund region and life within it!
