Forum for Social Innovation Sweden was founded at Malmö University in 2010 and has developed in close collaboration with the Municipality of Malmö. Funded by the Swedish Innovation Agency, Vinnova, four regional nodes were established at the universities: Jönköping University, Luleå University of Technology, Umeå Univeristy and Örebro University
In the south node, at Malmö University, we are a small tight team of six people. Five of us are based in southern Sweden, in the city of Malmö, and our Coordinator in the capital Stockholm. Our team consists of experts within English Literature, Human Rights, Urban planning, Journalism and Visual Communication. The six of us bring a mix of competences and skills from research and evaluation, facilitation and process lead, to concept and method creation, communication production and graphic design. Quite simply a friendly and curious bunch that are value-driven and want to contribute in solving society’s complex challenges.
