SUMMARY:The ocean starts here: more-than-human co-design for living with the sea
DESCRIPTION:Malmö University\, Forum for Social Innovation Sweden\, and the Marine Education Center invite you to a digital workshop at the New European Bauhaus (NEB) festival on April 10th from 09:30-12:30 CEST.\n\nHow can we design together with humans and nature for the emergence of regenerative relationships between European citizens and the sea? This workshop explores how to integrate the three New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles\, which are Beautiful\, Sustainable\, Together\, in practical design work by including both humans and non-humans. The starting point will be the framework and approaches we developed in the EU’s NEB Demonstrator Bauhaus of the Seas Sails Lighthouse project\, which explores how to create regenerative relationships between people and the sea. \nDuring this digital workshop\, the workbook the Ocean Ambassadors Compass: Navigating Towards Regenerative Cultures will be officially launched and discussed. The workbook is designed to inspire and guide individuals and communities in fostering regenerative cultures. \nThe workshop will take place online via Zoom. You will be able to download an ics-file to your calendar with the Zoom link once you have signed up. \nMore information about the workshop coming soon. \nSIGN UP

SUMMARY:Zoöp Open Lecture: collaborating with more-than-human life
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to an Open Lecture on Zoöp – an organisational model for cooperation between human and nonhuman life that safeguards the interests of all zoë (Greek for ’life’). The zoöp model makes the interests of nonhuman life part of organisational decision-making.  \nIn this Open Lecture\, participants will be guided by Klaas Kuitenbrouwer and Wietske Nutma from the Nieuwe Instituut – the Zoöp team – and familiarised with the practicalities of Zoöp\, learning how to incorporate the voices and interests of non-human life into the planning and decision-making of any organisation. \nWe hope that all participants\, through this Open Lecture\, will be supported in their respective work with strengthening marine ecosystems and human-sea relations.\n\nWorkshop hosts\nThe Open Lecture is hosted by Klaas Kuitenbrouwer and Wietske Nutma from the Nieuwe Instituut\, in collaboration with Malmö University\, the Marine Education Center in Malmö and the Forum for Social Innovation Sweden.
